“Words are,
in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic, capable of
both inflicting injury, and remedying it.”
~ Albus Dumbledore
Words are
like coffee for the soul, it miraculously changes us in multifarious ways. It’s up to us whether we pour it out with the
sweetness of love or bitterness of hatred. We never know few felicitous words
spoken with sincerity of heart can make a difference in someone’s life,
including even ours. Often we underestimate the power of a word, a touch, a
feeling but sometimes the most trivial words like Thanks, Sorry, and Please,
etc from the right person at the right time can turn someone’s whole day
around and can create euphoria in a moment. Words are the most powerful weapon
which can light happiness as well as wring tears from the hardest hearts. It often happens with us, our ego inflicted
mind stops us from saying something when it’s needed and later we regret for
the unspoken words which remains unheard and unfelt forever.
The tree is
known by it's fruit likewise we are known by our words. It’s said character
defines personality, but choice of our words reveals the character within. The
ways we speak are an expression of our own inner selves. The good man brings
out good and evil man brings out evil. It’s up to us whether we enunciate
constructively using words of encouragement, or destructively using words of
despair. Our weightless words define our attributes. People overlooks
demeanor, it's word which overwhelms them. Words are like arrows, once loosed
we can’t call them back. We can mend the wound given by arrows, but the wound
of someone’s words breaking our heart might not amend. Therefore we must avoid cacophonous
and beguiling words and weigh our words before discoursing it.
Be a
wheedler and use artful persuasion of thaumaturgic words, with love and
gentleness imbibed in it because when we let love weave the words in our
conversation people remember it forever.
